Ratings Notes: Alias Strong; Law & Order Ties CSI:NY

Wednesdays are becoming quite the unpredictable battleground.

In its second week back, Alias scored impressive ratings, holding a huge chunk of its Lost lead-in to easily win its time slot.

At 10 p.m. CBS' CSI: NY and NBC’s Law & Order were deadlocked in an A18-49 tie.

2 other geekspeak:

  • ABC needs to replace the god-awful wife swap show that follows lost with something more in the "genre" of lost and alias. 2 different audiences, execs... get it right!

  • Rome wasn't built in a day... for next season, they'll find something more compatible. Of course, they have to counter program the very successful L&O and CSI competition at 10pm as well.
