Wednesday News Roundup

Alyson Hannigan is set to star alongside the criminally irritating but molten-hott Jennifer Love Hewitt in the upcoming ABC sitcom "In The Game." It has something to do with chicks, and sports, and TV, or something. I'll just watch with the sound off... TBS is jonesing to buy repeats of the NBC quasi-hit drama Ed, which would give TV's Michael Ian Black the daily exposure nneded for him to reach the superstar status his talent deserves... Speaking of our favorite Viva Variety star, Black has also just signed a deal with Comedy Central to star in Stella, a show chronicling "the misadventures of a trio of modern-day Marx Brothers"... MTV has ordered 5 more years of their overrated, overhyped and overwatched reality kumquat The Real World, guaranteeing there's no possible way I'll ever watch MTV again, lest I catch an errant eyeful.

2 other geekspeak:

  • since they haven't been "Music" Television since around 1986, maybe they should be named "Crapbag" Television now.

  • Michael Ian Black??
"the superstar status his talent deserves"???

Are you kidding me? This guy is about as funny as a funeral and as entertaining as C-Span.

And he might be "married" but I'm guessing he's got a closet deeper than Pamela Anderson's hatchet wound.

How can I put it another way? He sux! Out loud, on ice, and in 5 different languages.
