Howard's End on E!

Looks like Howard Stern's show on the E! network may be ending.

A source says the televised version of his popular morning show will end when Stern's contract expires later this month. It's possible another network could eventually pick up the TV rights to the show. Meanwhile, E! will be able to rerun the thousands of episodes that have aired in the 10 years it's been running the show.

1 other geekspeak:

  • The real question is who does E! have a contract with? Is it Howard or his production company? Or is the expiring contract with Infinity broadcasting?

If I were Sirius, I'd want that exposure on cable to attract new subscribers.
