CBS has agreed to pay $325 million for two-year-old college sports network CSTV Networks.

The network currently has 15 million subscribers, and offers a variety of college sports such as tennis to lacrosse that might not otherwise get big programming deals.

... read: sports that nobody wants to watch...

The deal also includes a network of more than 250 official college sports Web sites that CSTV operates for their respective schools.

... just the icing on the fruitcake...

1 other geekspeak:

  • So do they show Division III hockey? Would anyone actually pay money to carry the SUNYAC tournament nationally?
