More Sex Than Ever on TV: Is the FCC Not Trying?

A new study says television has twice as many sex scenes as it did seven years ago.

... oh boy... the religious thought police will really have their bibles in a bunch over this one...

In addition, the number of shows that include messages of the risks and responsibilities of sex has leveled off.

... who wants a sex scene to slow down while Sharon Stone puts in her diaphragm? Please...

The study examined a week's worth of programming on ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox, WB, PBS, Lifetime, TNT, USA Network and HBO.

... now it makes sense... with all the wild banging on HBO, that should single-handedly spike the number...

The proportion of shows with sexual content in prime-time on the major broadcast networks — ABC, NBC, CBS and Fox — also increased.

... so much for that theory...
